Welcome to Striking Home. Let me introduce myself - I am Mark Harvey.
I was born in 1966 in Essex and moved to Cornwall with my family in 1976. I joined a local firm of accountants as an accountant's clerk in 1986 and am now employed as a payroll clerk/payroll supervisor. I am also a qualified tenpin bowling coach and a mechanic at the local tenpin bowling centre. I married my wife, Lorinda, in April 1998 and our son, Nathan, was born just over a year later in May 1999.
I have been a 'born again' Christian since I was 14 (e-mail me if you're not sure what I mean by that) and am involved in a church and help teach in the Sunday School.
My computer of choice is an Acorn with RiscOS operating system but currently use a PC to access the web. I now have some home page authoring software for my A5000 but prefer hand coding the html, even having tried packages on the PC under Windows and Linux. I have a colour scanner linked up so now you can see a picture of me opposite if you have your graphics enabled. It's not too late to ask me to remove it but I don't guarantee that it will be deleted.
