PRODUCT REVIEW
PRODUCT: JETWEAR TEXTILE TRANSFER PAPER
FORMAT: ALL
COST: DEPENDANT ON QUANTITY
Have you ever wanted a T-Shirt for a special occasion such as a bible camp or a church function but none of the designs available at a local shop were suitable, even assuming you have a T-Shirt printer locally? With Jetwear textile transfer paper you can produce your own designs and transfer them onto a T-Shirt, or anything else with a high cotton content. Sorry to make this sound so much like an advert, but as they say in the documentation with the paper, you just design, print, iron and wear. It really is that simple. Well, almost.
The only slight drawback is in the transfer of the design to the T-Shirt as this requires a hot iron on a hard, flat surface and a great deal of pressure followed by care in removing the paper to ensure the image is transferred properly and does not remain on the paper. Once that trick is mastered, however, the only limit to the application of these is your imagination. Last year, I went on a Bible Lands Cruise and produced a T-Shirt to wear on the ship from the clip art I already had, showing a camel passing through the eye of a needle. Having a colour printer helped, although you can colour in the design manually before transferring it to add impact. The paper can be obtained for almost any type of printer of photocopier and costs £6.95 for four sheets, £37.95 for thirty sheets or £99.95 for one hundred sheets, all inclusive of VAT but plus £2.50 post & packing. This makes it sound quite expensive but is a lot less than you would pay to have a T-Shirt printed with your own design anywhere else. The supplier is Quill Marketing, 11 Hemmings Close, Norwich, NR5 9EH and the telephone number is (01603) 748002.
